Crafty GM Item Cards
A downloadable game resource
I have always been enamored with the idea of using cards in my tabletop games. I’ve seen collections of item cards before, but the vast majority of them are on the expensive side and my budget right now is pretty slim. Printable item cards are often beautiful color illustrations, which aren’t printer-friendly, or they have exquisitely functional fillable statblocks specific to a particular game that aren’t illustrated at all… and are still in color and thus not printer-friendly.
Unable to find item cards that met my picky specifications, I set out to make my own!
These are:
- Printer-friendly -- cards are black and white only, with no large black fills.
- Customizable and system-agnostic -- card backs have a spot for the item's name and description.
- Free -- though naturally, if you find these useful, a couple bucks would really inspire me to make more!
They come in two different PDF styles: a standard nine-cards-per-page layout for printing on two sides of a piece of cardstock, and a four-cards-per-page layout for printing single-sided and folding over, tent-style.
Each set is 36 cards, and I have finished 1 set so far:
To-Do List:
- Fillable forms, so that PDFs can be filled out before printing.
